Pinoys in Qatar will surely have a great time enjoying and feasting on many authentic Filipino dishes and delicacies at very reasonable prices. Running from September 12-14 (during Eid al Adha holidays) at the Westin Hotel and Spa, this annual event is also a great showcase of Filipino talents: from fashion design, to music and dance, and of course our famous culinary expertise.
For us, we also took the opportunity to celebrate our friend’s birthday right in the middle of Kulinarya Qatar’s dining area. It was indeed unexpected by her. We especially would like to thank Pinoy Heart Radio for pulling off a surprise birthday announcement which paved way to more birthday announcements afterwards. A Vodafone staff even handed a gift to our birthday celebrator… it was really fun! We thought that was one happy birthday celebration done Pinoy-style… where our kiddos also enjoyed.

Kulinarya Qatar 2016 even has a lot of side events going on like a model search for kids, a vegetable curving competition, zumba party, and more booths for real estate, retails and other businesses. Congratulations to the organizers for doing a really great job once again. As it gets bigger and bigger each year, we are one in supporting these kind of initiatives not only to boost Pinoy Pride but also to foster unity among Pinoys in Qatar regardless of their political belief, religion and ethnicity.
