PHOTO BLOG: The 1st International Exhibition for Food, Beverage and Process Technology opened today – April 2, 2017 at the Doha Exhibition and Convention Center (DECC).
Without the usual fanfare, FOODEX QATAR with the theme “from farm to fork” aims to open opportunities to entrepreneurs to promote their products and technology.
Here are some of the booths i saw on display during my almost exclusive tour of the venue:
FOODEX QATAR opens from 10am to 6pm that’s why expect less visitors since most of the people are at work. But the organizers may be expecting companies and service sectors who are interested on new products and technologies to come and visit during the day.
It will run until April 4, 2017 and hopefully more people especially in the same industry will come and support this worthwhile initiative.

That was the quickest I’ve been to any exhibition. Aside from coming a bit late already (before 6pm), there’s nothing much to do than take a snapshot of the area since most of the exhibitors already left.
