100th BLOG POST – Thank you Qatar Tribune for featuring Best Life Qatar!

Yes, this is our 100th blog post since we started last February 2016. That’s about 6-7 post per month during the last 15 months (usually done during weekends). Indeed, we can say, that it was a fruitful first year. And it is but fitting to dedicate this space to say THANK YOU 100x to everyone who inspired us in so many ways!

Recently, Best Life Qatar was featured on Qatar Tribune, one of the leading local newspaper in Qatar. Hopefully, we were able to inspire those who want to start their own blog and pursue the things they love doing the most.

I was on vacation when i received the news about the feature. Though the interview was conducted few days before I left for Manila, i didnt expect that the release will be too soon… and the response was so heartwarming.

 

Indeed, this feat is not possible without the help of so many people. My family who has been my constant supporter and encourager (sometimes, even reminding me to blog when i seem to be very busy and overloaded). My social media followers and fellow bloggers who have been giving me that daily encouragement to be better at what i do (you just didn’t know how those simple LIKES,  SHARE, SUBSCRIPTION gives us bloggers the much needed motivation). When most of what we do aren’t paid, knowing that there are people who read our blog posts, support us by sharing and even patronizing the products or establishments we are featuring, are enough to keep us going.

We also would like to thank ZOMATO QATAR, especially Ms. Hala who’s invitation to attend the Zomato Bloggers Conference opened so many opportunities for learning and meeting fellow bloggers of different nationalities. Thank you also to KULINARYA QATAR headed by Ms. Layla Bernal and the rest of the team for trusting me and to become their event blogger. It was really the start of my exposure to the Filipino Community events as well as my training grounds for bigger collaborations in the future. Lastly, thank you also to Mr. Andrew Clark of Ogilvy & Mather for tapping Best Life Qatar to help during the product launch of COSTA COFFEE QATAR. That was our biggest break so far which opened opportunities for us to work with companies and global brands as well.

FIRST YEAR, just like a baby, is just our formative years. As we start to take our first few brave steps, we hope to be consistent with our purpose to provide helpful information to our readers.
