As expected, Filipinos in Qatar will never let a long holiday pass by without celebrating as a community. This coming Eid Al Adha 2017, everyone can expect another full-packed calendar of events with a new set of organizers taking on the chairmanship of the much-anticipated Piyestahan 2017.
While the previous community events had set a high benchmark in terms of value and creativity, it is expected that the upcoming PIYESTAHAN 2017 will also showcase a unique festivity that will continue the tradition of “bayanihan” from the Filipino expat community in Qatar.
PRESS CONFERENCE
We were invited to the event’s press conference where members of the media are given a glimpse of what looked like a very festive and glamorous celebration. There were new segments being introduced on the usual programming, select exhibitors and sponsors were also present in support of the event, while the organizers assured everyone that planning and security are all in place to ensure its overall success.
Here are some of the activities to look forward to during the Piyestahan Sa Doha to be held at Sapphire Plaza Hotel (September 1-3, 10am – 10pm). Timing may change without prior notice.

THE VENUE
