Yes! For a very affordable rate (especially if you avail of their ongoing promotions and your corporate rates), you can stay in a standard room with King Bed fitted with all the usual hotel furnishings, breakfast for 2, and access to the pool and gym. This is very ideal for those who are traveling to Doha for a business trip or for families wanting to spend a staycation within the old city center of Doha where the traditional Souq Waqif, the scenic Corniche, as well as the historic Museum of Islamic Arts are well within reach.
THE STANDARD ROOMS
The room size is about 29sqm and fully-fitted for a very relaxing stay. Nothing fancy but being in a new hotel will assure you of a clean and fresh feeling.
I noticed white lights along the corridors in contrast to the usual dim-lit hallways. It creates an illusion of space and a sense of peacefulness. Quite noticeable are those custom-designed bathroom signages made of iron metals giving that rustic vintage look.
HOTEL AMENITIES
The hotel has 2 restaurants, for now, the all-day dining – SIROCCO (Italian restaurant), and the American resto/sports-bar – STOCK BURGER CO. DOHA. However, since the hotel is located in the Business Park, guests can also visit other restaurants and cafés within the complex.
They also have meeting rooms, a spacious function hall (Al Masa Ball Room) with a private room (usually for wedding preparations), a business lounge, a fitness gym, and a swimming pool.
THE MEDIA NIGHT @ STOCK BURGER CO. DOHA
I was invited to attend the sneak preview and we were given a quick hotel tour. Several media people were present, along with other social media influencers and bloggers. The hotel executives were also in attendance.
We sampled the food from one of their restaurants – STOCK BURGER CO. DOHA. The burgers were really appetizing, I really liked the Lone Star Burger. Their mocktails, too, are really refreshing and the food kept coming one after another… what a treat!
STOCK BURGER CO. DOHA is a cool place to hang out after work (they serve liquor), just a heads up to families/guests with kids/minors.
