Indeed, the latest MIA PARK BAZAAR season is off to a good start. Even on a hot afternoon last Friday (6th October), droves of people came in early… eagerly anticipating the opening of their favorite booths. Some are taking a leisurely stroll or lying at the picnic grounds of MIA Park while watching the booths being set up by the organizers. Everyone seemed to be very excited and I thought, this bazaar has really established a good following probably due to their good experiences during the past seasons.
I have in mind few booths to visit, which after learning from online forums seem to be very popular among the bazaar-goers. I was lucky to be in the first batch to line up for THE PIE LADY’s famed pies. I was able to walk around and saw several familiar as well as new exhibitors. The weather isn’t that cool yet but some cold refreshments and a few chairs or even a picnic mat anywhere on the greens could give that much need relief.
Here are some of the photos I took during my stroll at the recently opened MIA PARK BAZAAR.
GUESS WHAT? I also found some Filipino products and stalls owned by Pinoy entrepreneurs.
Those who are following my blog knows how delighted I am to see “Anything Filipino” taking center stage at any events here in Qatar. It gives me so much joy as an expat and I wouldn’t mind supporting them in any way, especially through my blog. So aside from our favorite stalls, please also support our very own Kabayan businessmen.
