Last weekend, we were invited to attend the launch of Shangri-la Doha’s Shangtastic Brunch at Sridan. It was so chilly that day and the wind was so strong, we were thankful it was held indoor. I realized… winter season in Doha has definitely started.
This latest brunch event incorporates Shangri-la’s three main restaurants: Sridan, Fuego and Santorini to ensure there’s something for everyone – from the Asian food enthusiast, meat lovers, to seafood lovers. With live entertainment and a kid’s activity section, it’s a sure fun and appetizing experience for the whole family.
Three-in-One
This edition of Shangtastic Brunch is unique in its presentation. Greek restaurant Santorini, and Argentinian steakhouse Fuego, join forces with Sridan’s exciting live cooking stations to offer guests a global gastronomic tour.
SRIDAN and FUEGO share the right wing part where the main entertainment is. Sridan’s popular Arabic, Indian and Southeast Asian dishes plus Fuego’s Argentinian meats and ribs cooked on the asado is undeniably a treat for diners.
Meanwhile, SANTORINI’s mediterranean seafood and chilled lobster will welcome guests on the left wing. Aside from a cocktail bar, there’s also the new live sweet corner on this side which serves up different kinds of sweets and desserts. That’s heaven for sweet tooth like me, and don’t forget the saying… leave room for desserts!
Elevate the Experience
Adults will surely enjoy this Shangtastic Brunch since there’s a kids area with dedicated staff to supervise them. Kids can decorate their own ginger bread, create some crafts, and play with the other kids while the parents are enjoying their meals. Last Friday, we even had a photo shoot with Santa!
Aside from all these Shangtastic surprises, this festive brunch even have another great offer to those who will come on their colorful sweaters.
