When i was still starting to blog, I decided to write a post about one of the very important concerns of Filipino families and workers going to Qatar – VISA STAMPING. It was so popular that it is to date the article with the most view in all of my 190 blog posts. It is also one of the most discussed post with almost the same questions over and over again via the blog, facebook, email and even sms up to now.

Though I specifically mentioned that it was an “based on my personal experience”, many would still ask about other visa categories, invitation letter for “tourist visa” holder, or if I am a staff of Qatar Embassy, or if I can help them find a job.
What are my Realizations?
- There’s nothing more fulfilling than to help someone. I once was in a situation where I couldn’t even find any updated, highly responsive online post about this subject. Until lately that there has been several other bloggers who also wrote about the same concern.
- While most of the inquirers would ask the same questions/same situations over and over again, I also felt that I was their only source… and that really prompted me to reply to them as if putting myself on their situations.
- Some information needs to be updated.
What are the updates?
Basically, the only update is that WExpress updated their website. Wide Wide World Express Corporation (or WExpress and formerly known as DHL Philippines) still handles the Qatar Visa Stamping in the Philippines. They serve customers all over the country through their numerous WExpress branches scattered from Luzon, Visayas, and Mindanao area. No stamping is done at the Qatar Embassy office.
Previously, they have a specific page for QATAR VISA STAMPING but they have now removed it on their new website. That explains why the link on my previous blog is broken.
What (again) are the requirements for Qatar Visa Stamping?
FAMILY / PERSONAL VISA (Php350 Visa Fee + Php385 Service Fee = Php 735)
- Visa Notice – printable copy from MOI website (with barcode)
- Original Passport – not less than 6 months valid
- 2 pcs 2 x 2 photo with white background (standard requirement for visa photo)
FAMILY / YEARLY VISA (Php 735)
- Visa Notice – printable copy from MOI website (with barcode)
- Original Passport – not less than 6 months valid
- 2 pcs 2 x 2 photo with white background (standard requirement for visa photo)
- Medical Certificate (from accredited clinics or hospitals – please call WExpress office near you for list the accredited clinics close to you).
BUSINESS / TOURIST VISA (Php 735)
- Visa Notice – printable copy from MOI website (with barcode)
- Original Passport – with not less than 6 months validity
- 2 pcs 2 x 2 photo with white background (standard requirement for visa photo
- Invitation Letter from the Sponsor
WORK VISA (Php 2,485)
- Visa Notice – printable copy from MOI website (with barcode)
- Original Passport – not less than 6 months valid
- 2 pcs 2 x 2 photo with white background (standard requirement for visa photo)
- Medical Certificate (from accredited clinics or hospitals – please call WExpress office near you for list the accredited clinics close to you).
- NBI Clearance (DFA Authenticated with thumb print FOR TRAVEL ABROAD – 1 year validity)
Things to remember:
- Processing will take around 4 working days (no special/rush processing)
- Accepts only cash
- Follow-up can be done online or by calling the branch.
Here are some of the Frequently Asked Questions on the previous blog:
- Visa stamping may be submitted by immediate family members only. They only need ID copy of the representative and all the required documents listed above.
- An infant still needs to provide a 2 x 2 picture the same way for his/her passport.
- WExpress / Qatar Embassy will not accept Medical Certificate from non-accredited clinic / hospital. (see above list)
- Passport with less than or exactly 6 months validity will not be accepted for visa stamping.
- DHL branch will not accept documents for Qatar Visa Stamping.
- Qatar Embassy in Makati will not accommodate visa stamping.
- You can’t request to speed up the process of stamping even if the ticket has been purchased.
- No need for visa stamping if you are coming from other countries (outside of the Philippines).
- WExpress will not accept credit card for payment.
- Best Life Qatar is not affiliated with Qatar Embassy in Manila or with WExpress.
The above information is self-explanatory but i know that there will still be new situations that could develop anytime (subject to change without prior notice). So, it is really advisable to contact WExpress for detail confirmation before the proceeding with the application. Please feel free to comment down below if you have questions or other information.

Ano po ba difference ng DHL sa WW Express?
Magkaibang company po sila. WWExpress lang po ang authorized ng Qatar Embassy to process the Visa Stamping… not DHL (http://www.wwwexpress.com.ph/qatar-authentication-requirements-fees/)
Good day. Ask ko po yung daughter ko may approve visit visa na but hindi included ang middle name nya sa visa kasi 6 ang name nya in total wherein 5 lang ang sa system ng qatar. Nagpunta npo ako sa immigration to combine the two names as one pra ma add yung middle name but the officer ayaw po pumayag kasi di daw importante s knila ang middle name and first and last name daw dapat ang nkalagay sa visa at di pwde na i combine dahil mgging error daw un at bka ideny mkapasok sa qatar. Sa embassy po ba natin pwde nila stamp ang visa padin if wala middle name, kasi ayaw tlga ng officer i combine ang first name.
You can consult a mandup po. Kasi sa atin pag di kumpleto ang name di hinohonor yuin po ang di naiintindihan dito kasi iba system nila sa names. Please approach a mandup na pwedeng tumulong to amend.
Gud eve. We have similar problem with visa na walang middle name. Approve na ang visa but problema sa visa stamping here because of the missing middle name. Anu pyong “mandup”?

Nung February 11 ko pa po ibinigay ung passport q at ung medical certificate. last na update sa aking ng agency nung february 20, ang sabi nila nasa ministry n daw ang mga documemts ko.. untill now wala pa aqng visa. please pakilinaw naman po sa akin qng ano po ba talaga ang procedure nun para naman d po aq masyado nag aalala kc minsan na rin po aq naloko ng agency. salamat

Hello po, nabasa ko po yung una nyong tanong. regarding po sa WORK VISA (which is not part of this blog po) can be answered to you by your mandup/company HR. Depende po kasi sa history yung visa if nacancel na kau sa dating company or kung me allocation po ng visa yung company nyo. Yan po madalas na reason gn delay. Usually po mabilis langyan (less than 1 week) kaso po pag me mga problem yung papers, usually yan po ang nagpapatagal. So i would suggest na tanungin nyo po ang sponsor ny about this. Ganun po ba. tama po kayo. ganito po kc ang nangyari dati, sa unang agency ko po, nagkaproblema po between d company at ung agency ko po dito sa pinas.. eh hnd po nila naayos, kinancelled na po nila ung visa ko.. nag apply po aq ulit sa ibang cmpany under sa ibang agency na din po, nkakagulat lng po kc parang ang tagal naman.. usually po, sa mga ganitong cases, ilang days po ba inaabot ang processing bago nila ilabas ang notice?.. thank you po..

may tanong lang po ako meron kasi ako working visa po.bale direct hire ako.natatakot ako ma offload sa immig dito sa pinas.so nagplan ako na dumaan nalang ng sg or hk. Ang tanong ko po hindi pa ako mahold sa qatar immig kung walang stamp ang passport ko po? may 2nd question is what if idaan ko aa legal na paraan.ok lang ba na wala ako agency tapos magpapastamp ako sa qatar embassy dito sa pinas as long na macomply ko yung mga requirements for stamping? First, thank you for dropping by at the BLOG. Appreciate the kind words. Secondly, regarding your question, may i also ask what kind of VISa are you holding? Currently, there are 4 visa types available (family personally, family yearly, business/tourist, work). If work visa kau baka po medyo mahirapan kau if walang agency but you can talk to your mandup how you will go about it. If business visa kau, pwede yung option nyo kanina kaso madali lang naman po agpastamp. If you will follow the procedures mas kampante pa kau. My suggestion is to go with the visa stamping procedure. worth 750 pesos kesa magtravel pa sa ibang bansa (ticket, hotel etc).

Work visa po ang iissue ng company sa akin.mahihirapan talaga ako kasi wala po sila agency dito.kaya ang gagawin ko is mag sg or hk nalang.kaso baka kasi hahanapan ako sa immig sa qatar bat wala stamp ang passport ko.akala ko kasi ok lang na wala stamp kasi sa sg or hk ako dadaan. Meron kasi ako napagtanungan sabi need talaga ng stamp.yung iba sabi din hindi na daw kailangan kasi sa sg or hk ako dumaan as long na may dala ako copy ng work visa at contract.salamat sa time sa pagreply sir. Good evening po. ask q po sana para saan po ba ang national ID na kinukuha po ng employer? sa work visa po ba?. and anong mga sample ng national ID po ang dapat ipasa? salamat po.
Sa Pilipinas po ang mga National ID ay SSS, Drivers License and any government issued ID. Hinihingi po yun minsan just for verification.
So ibig po bang sabihin pag hiningi na po un, malapit na po irelease ang work visa ko?

Hi Mr. Zeke Tunay. Regarding your FAQ no 8: No need for visa stamping if you are coming from other countries (outside of the Philippines). This means that if my sister who’s coming from Bangkok and has a family visit/tourist Qatar visa with her does not need any visa stamping from the embassy of Qatar in the Philippines, right?
Does she need to present anything to the immigration officers in thailand or in qatar?

YES thats correct. No need for visa stamping on the passport if coming from Bangkok. But since the passenger classification is a visitor/tourist, he/she must have documents proving her return to home country: return ticket/place of stay in qatar/etc.
Share lang po ako ng info baka makatulong sa iba. Naghanap ako saan sa Quezon City merong DHL for Qatar visa stamping. Sa Trinoma ko po nahanap. Malapit po sya sa Tivoli Money Changer and malapit po sya sa exit door going to footbridge towards SM North. Fyi lang po.

Yung visa copy po na me barcode ang kailangan para po maprocess sya ng Qatar Embassy sa pinas for stamping. all other requirements and samples nasa blog po… then you may also inquire sa wwexpress sa mga malls for other documents po. Hello po Mr. Zeke, gusto ko lang po sanang mashare ung issue that I encounter just this week regarding stamping for my daughter and husband’s visa. My family (husband and daughter) is currently in Cebu City ngayon. They applied for visa stamping just last June 15, 2019. DHL-Ramos Cebu Branch is asking for 7-10 working days for the processing. No question regarding the time frame na hiningi nila for the process. Ang pinagtataka ko lang po bakit sa 9th day pa nila mabigay ung information na may problema? What is the purpose of asking a time frame for the process kung sa 8th or 9th day na nila maaadress yung problema? And besides requirements for family visit visa stamping like middle name issue and picture issue can be prevented on the time of application itself. DFA or whoever office who will review the documents prior to stamping should give advise also to DHL branches the proper documents or picture before accepting the application para maprevent sana ung problema na ganito.
aw. naku i feel you mam jannette. and thats a mistake sa part ng receiver. dapat nireview muna nila ang docs bago pinagbayad kasi thats part of the servuce fee na sinisingil nila. so meaning po me probkem sa middle name and photo? in that case po kasi if sa nme ang problem kailangan ibalik dito sa qatar at ipacorrect. sana maayos nyo po and thanks for sharing. sayang ang time.
Yes sir, I corrected and rectified the comments regarding middle name issue just last week. And take note po, just today I received a call from my hubby regarding na naman sa picture of my 1 yr old baby na masyado daw focus. After ko marectify lahat ng issue regarding sa middle name nila tsaka nila nabigay sakin ngayon na again hindi na namn nila maaaccept yung picture nang baby ko kasi masyado daw nkafocus, and again they are asking me for another 7-10 working days daw. Diba ang saya? Not just time yung nasayang dito Sir, most specially the money na pinangrebooked namin nang ticket nila which in fact hindi naman sana namin kasalanan.

Nung na approved po kase recently yung Visa for my wife, napansin ko din sa details nung Visa Notice copy from MOI na hindi po complete yung pagkaka sulat ng Middle ng Wife ko.

Depende po yun sa arrangement nyo with the agency. Kung concerned and agency sa mga staff dapat kasama na yun sa service fee (although idadagdag lang din nila yung cost)… in the end staff din nagbabayad…usually.

hello po, may tanong po ako… nag check po ako ng contract copy online (empcont.adlsa.gov.qa) pero wala ako nakitang copy ng contrata ko… ang tanong ko po is pareho lang ba nung nasa online ang contrata na nakuha ko sa contract verification ng POLO qatar.? salamat po sana may makasagot.
Pwede nyo po itanong sa mandup or HR ninyo about your contract kasi dapat po meron online. Were still updating ourselves with the new rules pero in the meantime, you may ask them for help po about your own contract. Will try to update soonest.
Hello, good day! I can’t any information online pero what is a visa notice and how can I obtain it? The Ministry of Interior website has pages that are not working so I cannot fully browse it. I’m planning to visit my sister in April. Thank you in advance!
Visa notice is the visa copy that they send you by email (the one with BAR CODE from the Ministry of Interiors). Please reply if you receive this response from me. Thanks.
