THE WEATHER CALLS FOR A DAYCATION

I usually plan out the itinerary whenever we are going somewhere. For this Daycation, we started out early since we have a bunch of activities lined up for the entire day: visit of all the facilities, shoot for the blog, room tour, a separate shoot for one of our future feature, while making sure that we are enjoying the experience. After doing this for quite sometime, the entire family has already adopted to the procedures and i can say… everyone was very supportive.

Check-in was a breeze and we were personally ushered by the reception staff to the room that was specially assigned to us. It was located at the 32nd floor so we had a breathtaking view of the Pearl area and the Arabian Gulf on one side and the Qatar University and Villaggio area on the other side… perfect for a sunset shoot in the afternoon.

Since I intentionally wanted to start early, we had the pool all to ourselves. We let Jasmine enjoyed swimming at the adult pool at one time and played at the kiddie pool with her mom.

We had breakfast next and we were surprised by a welcome gesture from the hotel staff – specially-made cupcakes and masalla chai.

Then we headed to the kids club and game room to enjoy the facilities while i sneaked in for a brief workout and a “me-time” at the health club. The soothing jacuzzi experience and the steam helps relax stiff joints and muscles after a workout. Steam also helps cleanse your skin and remove toxins so it’s nice to try it once in a while.

We enjoyed a beautiful sunset just before we head out for church. Friday is also our time to give thanks to the Lord for all His wondrous blessings in our life.

Please note that the deluxe studio apartment suite and breakfast are not part of the DAY PASS package but was given complimentary by the hotel. However, guests can also avail 15% discount on food and beverage consumption at the restaurant.
