From Sunday Dinner, Oryx Rotana made the best decision to move the Pinoy Fiesta (the hotel’s Filipino-themed buffet) to Saturday Lunch for so many reasons.
First, guests will have more time to enjoy the sumptuous buffet from 12:30 noon to 3:00pm. That’s more than enough time to do a little phasing from the appetizers, the mains, the street food, and the long range of desserts. Secondly, it won’t be difficult to sleep after eating a lot since you’ll get more time to digest even before you go to bed in the evening. That’s just perfect as you head for work the following day. Thirdly, families and group can enjoy group discounts for food as well as the use of hotel pool at a special rate.

Sept 8 – Launch of Pinoy Fiesta Luncheon
In the presence of no less than the Philippine Ambassador to Qatar – Mr. Alan Timbayan and Vice Consul – Mrs. Kristine Bautista, a simple luncheon was held together with the hotel management and selected Doha bloggers and influencers to introduce the new Saturday Lunch event at Choices – Oryx Rotana.
It was a great opportunity to celebrate the Filipino dishes here in the Middle East, which is not commonly available in many hotels in Qatar. It gives us pride as Filipinos to have a premier hotel such as Oryx Rotana who are keeping the Filipino Themed-buffet to showcase our local cuisines.
That is why it is but fitting to pay back this pride with the support of the community who are known to be lovers of food, fun and festivities.

At QR119 per person including soft beverages, guests can enjoy a rich variety of local Filipino dishes.
