I have a confession to make, it was my first time to watch ALADDIN!
Over the years of existence, I only realized while watching the movie’s remake on the big screen that none of the scenes are familiar to me. Except for the popular magic carpet ride scene with its Oscar award-winning theme song A WHOLE NEW WORLD. Reason? I actually don’t why I missed this beautiful movie. But I must say, the remake is awesome!
And several months after its opening, we also finally got a chance to watch a movie at NOVO CINEMA in SOUQ WAQIF. We thought it would be best for our little Jasmine to watch ALADDIN in a place such as Souq Waqif and make her appreciate the movie setting as well as the traditional souq itself.
Here’s a short video that I’ve made during our visit. I thought of uploading it here on the blog to avoid any possible copyright issues with Youtube (if I upload it on our channel). I watched Disney’s Aladdin 1992 last weekend and to my surprised, I was entertained and liked the story! 🙂 I honestly thought I wouldn’t like it kase old na ung film. heheh (nasanay na sa HD movies) pero I figure out na sa story ako nadala hndi sa creation ng animation. Plus, I wanted to watch the remake talaga to see how they will make in this generation. I am excited! I love Novo Cinemas din sa Souq Waqif! Hehehe The last time we watched movie (for the first time again) I super enjoyed talaga. Considering na nag sneak out kami noon for 2nd to the last full show. Hahaha!

Baka napanood mo na din ung 1992 film Kuya, nalimutan mo lang. Hehehe
yung plot twist nung gitna… di ko alam un e ung napunta sya sa snowy mountain… so alam ko di ko pa sya talaga napanood.
Just yesterday I saw an old pictures I have taken five years ago and I become a bit nostalgic, ano na Kaya hitsura ng place and I bump on your post. Napanood ko Yung mga luma at diko naman alam ang bagong movie. My wife have visited the place too at matutuwa sya sa version ninyo Ng “A whole new World” haha.
