Awarding of Plaque of Recognition to the Recipients of BLQ Readers’ Choice 2020

On January 22, 2020, the results of the first-ever BEST LIFE QATAR Readers Choice were announced via a simple ceremony held at the newly opened Sari-Sari Asian Fusion Cuisine in 03 Mall.

• Max’s Restaurant Middle East

They are truly deserving of this honor for their outstanding works in social media promotions, online contests, and in-store events. Garnering a share of 26.31% from the total number of votes, #MaxsRestaurantQatar emerged as the top choice out of the 10 nominated brands.

We are deeply honored to personally handover the plaque of recognition to their Country Operations Manager-GCC, Sir @mudi_karam21 together with the branch managers and head chef of Max’s Qatar.

3. BEST IN CUSTOMER SERVICE

• Jollibee Qatar

#JollibeeQatar, through this award, has proven its position as one of the Philippines’ finest in the food industry.

In a quick handing over ceremony at the office of Sunrise Group, we met Ms. Marwa and Mr. Will from the Marketing Department who also reiterated their commitment to support the blog and the community.

4. BEST HOMEGROWN BUSINESS (NON-FOOD)

• Qabayan FM 94.3

They are one of the best contenders in every category where they are nominated and truly deserving of this award being “THE FIRST AND ONLY PINOY RADIO STATION IN QATAR”. With a massive 46.34% of the total votes in this category, only proved that they have a big influence in our daily lives here in Qatar.

It is a privilege to meet our favourite RJs and their very humble Finance and Admin Manager – Ms. Nhelie Rosopa. They were even gracious enough to give us a quick tour of the famous RJ’s booth and introduced us to some of their staff.

5. BEST HOMEGROWN FILIPINO RESTAURANT

• FlaminGo Restaurant

From a humble beginning, Flaming Go grabbed the opportunity to go mainstream to serve their loyal customers. Banking on a highly strategic location side by side with other big restaurant brands, they are one of the good places to experience Filipino food here in Qatar.

6. BEST INTERNATIONAL OPERATIONS (NON-FOOD)

• Philippine Airlines Doha

With a whopping 49.46% share of total votes, our READERS’ CHOICE for BEST INTERNATIONAL OPERATIONS (NON-FOOD) is @flypal-Philippine Airlines Doha.

Receiving the special token of recognition at their office in D-Ring Road is Mr. Marvin Aranzanso – Area Manager|Qatar|Philippine Airlines.
