Maximum Flexibility for Qatar Airways Passengers with up to 10% additional Value

One day before our original flight to Manila on March 27, QATAR AIRWAYS through their twitter account made a new exciting announcement for all its existing passengers. While we had some concerns about the refund process (as we haven’t received our travel fund confirmation yet and our booking is still ACTIVE on the system). We tried to give them a call several times but just this afternoon, I was able to talk to the staff after almost 30 mins of waiting. We encourage everyone to just be patient and hope you get your call connected as they are “experiencing a high volume of calls”.

BLOGGER’S NOTE: While they did not mention if the OPTION 1 is FREE OF CHARGE on the change fee only or will credit the entire amount on new travel date (we still have to confirm this). Please let us know in the comment section if you were able to get clarifications ahead of us, otherwise, we will update this post the soonest.

Also, we just hope that by changing our fares into a TRAVEL VOUCHER which we can use on a later date, ticket prices will not shoot up which will require us to pay very expensive fare differences. Most of us are only choosing this option due to uncertainty on the next possible travel dates. We hope that the management of Qatar Airways and other airlines as well will really give their customers an honest to goodness options. In the meantime, the above is definitely a good news! Good job QATAR AIRWAYS for setting the standard which other airlines also followed.
