The Ministry announced the launch of the initiative of the list of reduced consumer goods for the holy month of Ramadan, to be implemented effective April 18, 2020, until the end of the holy month of Ramadan in 2020.

Based on the Arabic memo: The Ministry of Commerce and Industry announced the launch of the initiative of the list of reduced consumer goods which includes more than 500 commodities, which is to be effective in the morning of 18th April 2020 until the end of Ramadan, in coordination with the major consumer groups. This initiative comes within the framework of the Ministry’s keenness over the past years to launch such programs by providing the needs of its citizens and residents for goods. The reduction of prices of consumer goods will significantly help the residents during the holy month of Ramadan where spending on food commodities is high.
