It’s now becoming a tradition here at Best Life Qatar to pay tribute to Filipino Entrepreneurs in Qatar at the start of each year. Now on its 3rd Season, BEST LIFE QATAR READERS’ CHOICE 2022 will expand the categories to give way to more Filipino companies to be recognized. However, due to the STILL ongoing pandemic, this survey activity will be made purely online and NO TROPHIES will be awarded to the winners unlike in the past 2 years since we are always restricted with the awarding ceremonies (which took us more than a month to distribute last year). However, we will continue to strive to get as much respondents as possible to ensure that we will get the voice of the Filipino community.

The winners for each category will be determined through the following criteria:

This way, we can ensure to get the nominee’s popularity on different social media channels as well as limit or balance out any voting interference.

Also this year, we’ve made even more changes by having a total of 12 categories (may still change without prior notice) compared to 5 in the past 2 years, and by shortening the voting period to 5 days only (Jan 16-20) which usually takes two weeks in the previous surveys.

For 2022, we are searching for the MOST POPULAR… IN QATAR.

The minimum requirements for nomination include:

  1. Company must be founded and owned by a Filipino Partner
  2. The operation is duly registered under the Ministry of Commerce and Industry of the State of Qatar
  3. For Newcomer Category, only those who started their operation in 2021 will be qualified.

What will be required from the NOMINATED COMPANIES? NOTHING. We don’t require any financial support / payments and nominees are not required to campaign for this survey. However, they are allowed to share the voting announcements on their social media channels. Being nominated shouldn’t be felt as something burdensome (a very Filipino brand of humility) but it is suggested to be taken with pride to be selected by the community, or at least by this website.  

We are asking everyone to help us add up to our lineup of nominees for the above categories. As we open the table for nominations, we also ask everyone to just enjoy this opportunity to recognize and give a platform especially to start-up companies. We hope that our humble social media channels (blog, instagram, and facebook page) will help everyone reach out to as many clients even beyond the different Filipino communities in Qatar.

HOW TO NOMINATE? Just comment below the name of the category and the name of the company/shop/establishment. You can nominate as many as you can but make sure that they meet the requirements mentioned above. Nominations will be accepted until January 13, 2022.

Announcement of the winners will be on January 22, 2022 here at www.bestlifeqatar.com.
