Amidst the challenges of the pandemic, it’s great to know that some of our favorite restaurants are still expanding their operations and opening up new branches to serve their customers and make their products available to other locations in Qatar.
Here are some those who have recently opened their new branches:
1. FLAMINGO at Place Vendome Mall, Lusail

Located at the food court area of the newly opened Place Vendome Mall, Flamingo is the first Filipino restaurant to open in this upscale commercial complex. The food court setting is also an open opportunity to showcase the best of Flamingo, as well as the Filipino fusion cuisines, to other nationalities.
2. MARU at Qanat Quartier, The Pearl

One of the well-loved Korean Restaurants in Qatar, Maru has opened its second branch at Qanat Quartier in The Pearl area after the success of their West Bay branch (near Intercontinental The City Hotel). While the Westbay branch showcases a typical “Choga” or straw-roofed Korean Cottages theme, the second branch features Korean roof tile called “Gi-wa”, both giving its customers an authentic feel like being in Korea.
3. JOLLIBEE at Place Vendome Mall, Lusail

The Philippines’ biggest fastfood chain is also making its presence felt in almost all major shopping malls in Qatar, including the posh – Place Vendome Mall in Lusail. Indeed, Jollibee‘s global image made it possible to compete head to head with other brands like McDonalds, KFC, and others.
4. YEE HWA at Doha Souq Mall, Al Nasr

Yee Hwa – Doha Souq Mall is the third branch after the main Yee Hwa Restaurant at Al Kinana Road in Al Sadd, and Yee Hwa-Qokio at Palms Mall in Muaither. Yee Hwa also owns the Korean Streetfood Restaurant, Qokio also located at Doha Souq Mall in Al Nasr area.
5. SUSHI LIBRARY at Villaggio Mall, Al Waab

Their first store at the City Center Mall is an instant hit and so it’s understandable that they need to expand to other malls just like this second branch in Villaggio Mall (near Gondolania Theme Park). Sushi Library‘s modern twists on Japanese cuisines without compromising taste and quality make them stood out from the rest.
6. ROSITAS at Al Kinana St., Al Sadd

From their humble beginnings at their quaint bakery and eatery in Matar Qadeem Road, they braved all odds to address the clamor for bigger and better space for their customers. Adding to the noise of the bustling food strip at Al Kinanan Road in Al Sadd, Rosita’s Seafood Restaurant will be the next “boodle fight” destination for every JUANs who love seafood while eating with bare hands (utensils are optional, plastic gloves are provided).
COMMENT BELOW IF YOU KNOW OF OTHER BRANCH OPENINGS AROUND TOWN… we will try to check it out and feature them soon.
