K-DRAMA and more

Song Joong-ki’s small-screen comeback, a KDrama that was shot in the Philippines, and others to watch out for this November

It’s one of my favorite times again, to usher in a new set of KDrama series premiering this month of November. Previously, I was able to watch 10 out of the 18 series that I featured in September. Standouts among them are Little Women – finished (Kim Go Eun), and One Dollar Lawyer – ongoing (Namgoong Min). The other series that I also enjoy watching from this batch include The Empire – ongoing (About Law and Family), Golden Spoon – ongoing (about Family and Business), and Love In Contract – ongoing (about Relationships).

However, when the news broke out about the tragedy in the area of Itaewon on October 29, 2022, several media companies in Korea, including Netflix announced that they will delay the release of some November Kdramas, including The Fabulous. South Korea announced a national mourning period for the victims in response to the tragedy.

Nevertheless, it looks like we are still in for another exciting set including Netflix’s The Fabulous starring SHINee’s Minho, Song Joong-ki’s small-screen return with Reborn Rich, and Son Seok-gu and director Kang Yoon-sung’s Casino which was (partially) shot in the Philippines.
