In my last blog post about FIFA Official Soundtrack, we took the hint from FIFA’s official website saying: “more releases to follow ahead of the start of the tournament…”. And true enough, the fifth one was released on the morning of November 20, just a few hours before the Opening Ceremonies. Then, the official music video was released on November 22 on FIFA’s Official Youtube Channel.
The highly anticipated OST of FIFA World Cup Qatar 2022 sent fans around the world to the edge of their seats: from the announcement of Jungkook’s participation in the World Cup events to the Opening ceremonies performance, up to the release of this music video. It trended worldwide on multiple occasions with hashtags #Jungkook #FIFAkook #FIFAWorldCupQatar2022 #Qatar #DreamersbyJungkook and more.
And in relation to my recent post about JUNGKOOK’s ITINERARY IN QATAR, let me give a glimpse of the shooting locations used for the video (more other places he visited in the blog – just click the hyperlink):
1. PARISA PERSIAN CUISINE – Souq Waqif
The entrance hallway of the restaurant (in the video, JK is seen heading to the exit direction).
The main dining hall was seen with spotlights in the video (see the fountain).
2. BIRD AREA – Souq Waqif
Then, the next scene opened us up to the inner Souq Waqif area where most of the dance routines are done.
3. MARRIOT MARQUIZ CITY CENTER – Helipad
The helipad scene has a good vantage point of the bustling Westbay Business District.
4. SHERATON PARK
Jungkook’s viral video of him getting inside the camp van was actually shot in this park where the flag dance was held.
5. CHEDI KATARA
Qatari singer Fahad Al Kubaisi was seen singing his part at what seems to be an atrium part of the hotel.
6. QATAR SANDUNES and WESTBAY DOHA
Like a tribute to Qatar’s glorious past and promising future… it was amazing to see the different landscapes of QATAR in one video.
Lastly, aside from QATAR being featured in a well-crafted, beautifully executed music video, it was also nice to see KABAYAN TALENTS in the background. Definitely, this is a proud moment for the entire country!
