We are just counting the final hours until these two mighty teams of FIFA WORLD CUP QATAR 2022 meet for their final match. But before that, let’s have a look at what’s inside their Qatar Homebase.
ARGENTINA – Qatar University Hostel 1
Instead of opting for the suite life at a luxury hotel for the duration of the tournament, the team has instead chosen the dorm life since they are hoping for a long stay in Qatar as part of their 2022 World Cup journey. According to reports, the players will mostly have the same facilities and accommodations that a college student would get.

Another reason for deciding to stay on a college campus over a five-star hotel is because the team loves barbecue. Argentina’s players have a special open-air space at Qatar University dedicated to asados, a traditional barbecue aimed at good food and team bonding.
“It’s part of our culture. We want to make them feel at home while they are in Qatar and the best way to do this is to make sure that they get a taste of home while focusing on the football,” a source from the Argentina Football Association added.
The Qatar University campus is made up of 90 rooms and has state-of-the-art sports facilities, an Olympic size swimming pool, and its own 10,000-capacity football stadium. While the other teams have opted to stay in more luxurious accommodations, TEAM ARGENTINA believes they also deserve the best beef whose focus is to win the World Cup.
FRANCE – Al Mesilla Resort and Spa Doha
The reigning champions France are staying in the lap of luxury at the Al-Messila in Doha, which has an eye-catching design based on an Arabian palace. The £1,500-a-night hotel features 30 private pool villas and an extensive wine and champagne list, which will ensure some good celebrations should France retain the title.

Al-Messila Luxury is a top-of-the-range hotel with 132 rooms, a 13,000-square-meter garden, and several swimming pools and was exclusively booked for the French national team during their stay in Qatar. Since there will be no layover hotel the day before the matches, the players will be in the hotel all the time, so the fact that there are green spaces, fresh air, and ground nearby is an advantage.

The French team led by coach Didier Deschamps since July 2012, succeeding coach Laurent Blanc, will train at Al Sadd Club.
On December 18, these teams will battle it out for football supremacy. Only one team will be declared the FIFA WORLD CUP 2022 CHAMPIONS. Which victory party will be the loudest on that night: Argentina’s BBQ party, or the French wine party?
And as in the usual happenings after any big events like the World Cup, could their accommodations become instant tourist attractions or would their prices and availability increase due to demand or out-of-curiosity?
