In line with FIFA WORLD CUP QATAR 2022, different countries participated to set up unique booths along Corniche to promote their culture and tourism. The Korean Embassy in Qatar together with Korea Tourism Organization (KTO) hosted the ‘Travel to Korea, Cheer Together!’ at Doha Corniche as part of World Cup-related activations to celebrate the return of travel to South Korea.
In this edition of FEED YOUR S[e]OUL, we are going to share our visit to KOREA PAVILION and its extensive tourism promotion for residents of GCC. Our main reference is a report from Gulf Times recognizing the effect of World Cup 2022 in driving tourism to South Korea.
There are various activities happening daily at the Korea Pavillion like traditional performances, cheering events, the traditional craft zone, the game zone, and photobooths where you can also wear their traditional dress called HANBOK. They also provide travel consultations, travel brochures, and information needed until December 18. The Korean Pavilion is a great opportunity to attract visitors from the GCC and the rest of the world to South Korea during this World Cup in Qatar.
