When you get invited to a restaurant or hotel the second time around, you get the feeling that you have done something right at the first time. In sales, repeat customers are validation of your good works and a testament to the quality your products and services. And in a span of few years, I had the privilege of building good relationships with brands and companies which made possible some frequent invitations and even special favors.

FAMILY STAYCATION PROMO
Towards the end of 2018, we got another surprise invitation to stay at Premier Inn Qatar in time for their Family Winter Staycation promotion.
This is a special online rate that’s ideal for families who wants to enjoy an intimate bonding experience.
The package includes an overnight stay with breakfast for 2 adults and 2 kids. On top of that, guests can also avail of early check-in (as early as 9am) and late check out (as late as 6pm based on availability) and that gives everyone more time to enjoy the hotel facilities.
Specify the number of occupants and you will come to your room already fitted with additional beds for your kids. Moreso, high speed internet and cable signals are available for entertainment purposes.
The rooms are noticeably very functional, with water heater, hair dryer and other basic personal toiletries. Some rooms even have ironing boards (may also be requested if needed). Their toilets are just the right size yet they have bathtub which aren’t always available even in some 5-star hotels in town.
We first stayed at Premier Inn Qatar on February 2018 and it was marked with a very memorable and enjoyable staycation. The second time was even longer and we made sure that we maximized our stay to the fullest.

ADDITIONAL SERVICES
This time around, we managed to avail of the FREE shuttle of the hotel going to the mall in order to show to our readers and followers via Instagram stories. There are timings for the shuttle service and it is mainly for use of their in-house guests working or studying around the Education City area. Based on availability, a special drop-off may be arranged at the reception, but on a regular basis, they follow their designated timings. Surprisingly, they really leave on time and arrive at the pickup point on time too!
OTHER HIGHLIGHTED FEATURES
Aside from the previously featured facilities like the gym, separate changing rooms for ladies and gents, temperature controlled swimming pool, and their all-day dining restaurant called OMNIA (which really served affordable and delicious meals), we also would like to give focus on other parts of the hotel that others may also find useful.
COFFEE SHOP. Costa is UK’s leading and fastest growing coffee shop chain, and like Premier Inn, it’s a part of Whitbread PLC. That is the reason why there’s always a Costa coffee shop in every Premier Inn hotels, not only in Qatar, but across the globe. While some of the branches are open to guests 24-hours a day, each branch serves up a menu of great-tasting coffees, teas, cold drinks, pastries and light snacks.
BUSINESS CENTER. Especially designed to cater to Education City students and employees, there’s a nook equipped with desktop computers for browsing or even school or office works. There’s even a vendo machine for light snacks and it’s located just close to the coffee shop.
MEETING ROOM. Premier Inn, being a business hotel too has facilities for small meetings and corporate seminars.
PRAYER ROOMS. For our muslim brothers and sisters, there are also designated prayer rooms located at the ground floor near the coffee shop.
ROOMS FOR PWDs (People with Disability). I was not very particular about this during our first stay but I was delighted to see a PWD logo on some of the rooms as we pass by the hall. As I attend more events lately, I came know some awareness campaigns for PWDs like the Accessible Qatar’s initiative, as well as by several government and NGO’s around the country. And this is one of Premier Inn Qatar’s advantages, being close to one of the country’s biggest and newest medical facility – SIDRA MEDICINE, is one of the best place to stay when seeking medical care in Qatar.
They have two room types and their beds are relatively lower than the regular hypnos beds. Also, the toilets have different designs suited for the needs of PWDs. Likewise, the presence of alarm systems (the red strings) in case of emergency are also noticeable.
